I am in the midst of completing my degree to become a Design and Technology teacher,  having chosen to specialise in home economics, including textiles and food technology.

Teachers have the opportunity to impact so much on a student’s life as well as changing their view on learning. I find that technology subjects are highly beneficial to students as it fosters for a range of learning abilities and encourages development in many areas of learning. Computing offers a hands on, interactive experience of learning as well as equipping them for an array of career options. All technology subjects give the students an opportunity to express their creative talents to broaden their learning.
